Run a skills workshop

Lawe invites passionate volunteers to empower local women by sharing practical knowledge and life skills. You can run workshops on weaving, sewing, product development, small business management, creative storytelling, or topics related to Indonesian heritage such as art and local history.

We welcome volunteers who have specific expertise—whether in crafts, education, entrepreneurship, or creative industries. If you enjoy teaching and working with community groups, we’d love to have you. Teaching experience is a plus, but what matters most is your willingness to contribute and inspire.

Internship to support internal capabilities

We offer internship opportunities for students or young professionals interested in learning how a social enterprise operates. Interns may support areas such as program management, communications, research, product development, or digital marketing—depending on your background and LAWE’s current needs.

Help with a Lawe event

Be part of our dynamic event team! We need volunteers to support the planning and execution of events—from workshops and exhibitions to community gatherings. Roles include logistics, documentation, participant coordination, and on-site support. Bring your energy and teamwork!

Artistic Development

Are you a designer, artist, or visual storyteller? Collaborate with LAWE to create meaningful art, product designs, or multimedia content that highlights traditional textiles and community narratives. Let’s co-create something beautiful that celebrates heritage and empowers people.

Spread the word

Use your voice and platform to amplify LAWE’s mission. We need digital-savvy volunteers to help with social media campaigns, blog content, photography, or video storytelling. If you’re passionate about advocacy and communication, help us reach wider audiences and create deeper impact.
